Drain baked beans and pour them into crock-pot or pan. Add molasses, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and the finely chopped onion. Stir until mixed well.
Slightly cook the bacon and cover the top of the beans with the slightly cooked bacon.
Cook on low in the crock-pot for at least 6 hours or for 3 hours in the oven at 350 degrees F.
