Christmas Marshmallow Treats

Ingredients and amounts:

1/4 cup of butter or margarine

10 oz of marshmallows

6 cups of rice krispies cereal
-
Food coloring
-
Christmas cookie cutters of your choice

Buttered flavored cooking spray
-
Wax paper
-
Colored sugar crystals
Cooking Instructions:

In a large bowl, combine the 1/4 cup of margarine or butter and 10 oz of marshmallows. Microwave for 2-3 minutes

Add 8-10 drops of food coloring. Stir

Add rice krispies cereal. Stir until well coated

In a 13 X 9 X 2-inch pan, press the mixture evenly using a waxed paper.

Let it cool 10-15 minutes

Spray your cookie cutter with the buttered flavored cooking spray, cut and garnish with colored sugar crystals

Reheat any excess rice krispie mixture, press into pan again, let it cool and cut again.
(
I recommend reheating the mixture only once)
