Elbow Macaroni Tuba Salad Before Mixing

Elbow Macaroni Tuba Salad

  3 hours in refrigerator    
Yield:
  12 servings    
Ingredients and amounts:
  • 1 large bowl
  • 1 pound (lb) of elbow macaroni noodles
  • 2, 6 oz cans of tuna
    (Albacore Tuna is my favorite)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/2 cup of white onion
  • 2 cups of celery
  • 1 1/2 cup of salad dressing (Miracle Whip is my favorite)
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • Paprika

Cooking Instructions:

Cook and drain the elbow macaroni noodles.  Set aside.

In a large bowl, drain and flake the 2 cans of tuna.  Add the salt and pepper.  Mix together well.

Chop up the 1/2 cup of onion and 2 cups of celery and add them to the large bowl.  Mix together well.

Add the 1 1/2 cup of salad dressing in the large bowl.  Mix together well.  Gradually add the cook and drained elbow macaroni noodles and 1/4 cup of milk to the large bowl.  Mix together well. 

Sprinkle paprika on top for looks, cover and refrigerate for 3 hours.
